About Me

My name is Tony, and I am a casual retro gamer.  I don’t have a YouTube gaming channel or a ton of videos online of me fragging people in Halo or Call of Duty.   I like to play a few retro video games in my free time, mainly from my youth and teenage years.

I’ve had several video game systems in my time like NES, Super NES, Genesis, Turbografx-16, Playstation 1, 2 & 3, Xbox 360, PC, Amiga 500, iPhone, iPad, and so many more.  I’ve played a lot of different styles of games which require different skills and commitment.  In the end, I am only there to be distracted for a period of time.  No more, no less.

I’ve had a wide taste in video games over the years.  I started with graphic adventure games (like Maniac Mansion, Secret of Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle), but over time I started getting into the first person shooting games (like Doom, Doom II, and Quake).  I always loved role playing games (like Final Fantasy, Ys, Wild Arms, and Zelda), fighting games like (Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter) and side scrolling games (like Super Mario Bros, Mega Man and Ghosts and Goblins).

My goal here is to highlight some of the games I’ve loved, recounting my experiences and memories.  I’ll talk about games I’ve loved, and even games that I didn’t care for or hated.  I’m want to review my past experiences so they can preserved for the future.  These are my gaming stories…
